The success of that show enabled Odar and Friese to tell the story they wanted to tell over three mind-boggling seasons, and also provided a bit of a blessing and a curse when it came time to work on 1899. And then the pandemic happens, the show was supposed to be shot in a very traditional way, where we would have gone to a water tank and we would have built ship set pieces and traveled to other countries to shoot scenes there and stuff like that," he says. bo Odar:When we spoke to the guys behindThe Mandalorian, we asked them what worked and what was really complicated. Odar adds, "But is it the right one? So, you would have the English dialogue on the left side and then the translated dialogue for that character in their language on the right side.
